Burnshee Thornside: Dear Errol
Burnshee and Thornside first met in their teens, when they played in the club "Hard Pepper Funk Unit", on 8th street in N.Y. They both were about 18 and had there own bands. Burnshee had "The Lame Flames", playing rock with a touch of funk and Hendrix, and Thornside had a jazz ensemble playing Bebop and 60's cool jazz. The two bands started jamming after the shows, that's when Thornside, after a few beers, tried to sing. Burnshee liked what he heard and approached the young Thornside afterwards and asked them if they could play again, maybe try to form a new band, with Thornsides trumpet and singing together with Burnshees Hendrix guitar. Thornside didn't mind at all. And so it all began.
Ein weiterer sehr feiner Song von dieser Platte ist "Rock This Moon"; und dazu gibt es auch ein Quicktime-Video (mitlesen lohnt sich ;-)

Funkilinium: You'll never find
This is the new sound of modern R&B Imagine the result if you took everything great about popular music, (be it funk, soul, hip-hop, jazz or rock) and fused it into an R&B format. Funkilinium has accomplished this as a group that is as infectious as it is explosive from the hardest grooves, to the smoothest ballads. The sound is completely new, yet nostalgically familiar. Funkilinium plays in the tradition of the great funk and R&B acts (Earth, Wind, & Fire, Parliament/Funkadelic), but with a modern edge.

Also: Stay tuned. www.NoTalkRadio.de
