When Billy Bob Thornton was on this show a few years ago, I figured I was one Kevin Bacon degree removed from my first X-Man?Halle Berry.

When today is done, I?ll still be one degree of separation away from Storm, but I?ll have interviewed my first real X-Man, Shawn Ashmore, who played ?Iceman? in all three X-Men films.

(And now I?ll also be one degree of separation away from Anna Paquin, who played ?Rogue? in the the X movies and whose character dated Ashmore?s character. So I got that goin? for me.)

Ashmore returned to the big screen this winter as the star of Frozen, which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. It?s the story of three friends who get stuck on a ski lift when it shuts down for the night.

You can see the trailer at Apple.com/trailers but in the meantime, use your imagination and listen to this:
Hear it now!SHAWN ASHMORE AUDIO EXCERPT:
"My first day was that first scene with Anna Paquin on the bench. I was so nervous. Before the first take, it felt huge. My knees were knocking. The movie cane out and it was a big success, and that was cool. I got a call two months before X2 started shooting and Bryan Singer said, 'I really want you to play Bobby again.' I read through the script, going through the pages and I was like, 'Oh, man. I'm really in this one!'"
