Modern Quartet: Jazzonized
Modern Quartet is a band who have been making music in Serbia for over ten years, creating a fusion of modern dance music with the distinctive rhythms of jazz. So you could call it electronic jazz. It is music for modern times, composed and synthesised on computers but also played live on stage and in clubs in multi-media performances that combine music, dance and video. The core members of Modern Quartet are Leche, Mastabear and Vanjus three guys and three computers, who collaborate with various musicians depending on the nature of each project. MQ means music and movement, sound and vision.

Konferenz: Ad Libitum (Radio Edit)
To exchange, to bring something together at one point, to collate - thats what the Latin concept conferre stands for. The project KonFerenz by Klaus Jatho, Joachim Krohn and Marc Bornée is characterized very well by its name: the three musicians combine jazzy winds, spacious harmonies, and at times impulsive and at times an easy-going, groovy bassline and the soulful voices of four different guest singers in their "KonFerenzRaum" while bringing this blend to a very non-chalant point, in fact to a jazzy, loungy point.

Jody Shelton Band: Driveway
The story of Jody Shelton Band begins in late 2003 when singer/songwriter and Tennessee native Jody Shelton moved to New York City. Here, he resumed songwriting after a three-year hiatus. After several months of playing his new material with various New York musicians, Jody began to rehearse and record with producer/guitarist Eric Wilhelm in Eric's Brooklyn-based Kitchen Sink Studios. In August 2004 Jody saw drummer Christopher Heinz playing buckets in a friend's show. Impressed, Jody and Eric asked Chris to join the band the following week. While continuing the search for a permanent bass player, the trio began recording their first EP, Rise, in early 2005. Bassist Michael Pearce joined the band in Summer 2005 and the completed group began work on their follow up EP, Child, due out in September 2006.
Techno Squirrels: Mute
Techno Squirrels are a band from Los Angeles, California. Techno Squirrels formed in 2005 and includes Ryan Harlin and Lisa Eriksson. Prior to Techno Squirrels, Lisa Eriksson was most notably the original singer for UK electroclash band Ladytron - singing on their debut single "He Took Her To A Movie." (as listed on the 2004 reissue of "604" by Rykodisc). Techno Squirrels' debut single, "Mute", was released in the Fall of 2005 on Rave Police Records. Music critics have compared the title track from the single to "Björk's popier work" and "William Orbit-era Madonna."
